Butterfly Click Test
Butterfly clicking is two fingers striking the same button in turn. The rate goes high — 15–25 CPS — but the intervals come out uneven: the gap between the two fingers is shorter than the gap between cycles, and the interval histogram shows exactly that.
- The usual range is 15–25 CPS, well past both normal clicking and jitter clicking.
- Watch the interval histogram: butterfly clicking is almost always twin-peaked rather than single-peaked.
- Many game servers ban it, because in the logs it is indistinguishable from an autoclicker.

FAQ
How do you butterfly click?
The index and middle finger both rest on the same button and strike it alternately. Each finger works at its own ordinary rate and the button sees twice the frequency.
Why does butterfly clicking show a wider spread?
Because the gap between the two fingers and the gap between cycles are two different quantities. That is the twin peak in the histogram and the low consistency score.
Why is butterfly clicking banned?
It reaches rates anticheats read as automated, and server logs cannot separate it from an autoclicker. Check the rules of the specific server you play on.
