What generation am I if I was born in 1997?

Answer

If you were born in , your generation is:
Generation Z

Pew Research Center starts Generation Z with births in 1997 and uses 2012 as its end in research, though it has not officially set where the generation ends. 1997 is the first year of that generation, so it is on the cusp with the Millennials (Gen Y): other researchers put this line a few years earlier or later. People born around this line are sometimes called Zillennials — an informal name with no agreed years.
