Born in 2013: What Generation Am I?

    What Generation Am I
    Year of birth

What generation am I if I was born in 2013?

    Answer

If you were born in , your generation is:
    Generation Alpha

Generation Alpha is McCrindle Research's name for the generation after Gen Z. McCrindle dates it to births in 2010–2024; this chart starts it in 2013, right after 2012 — the cut-off Pew Research Center uses for the end of Gen Z. 2013 is the first year of that generation, so it is on the cusp with Generation Z: other researchers put this line a few years earlier or later.

    2013 ≤ 2013 ≤ 2024 → Generation Alpha

The birth year is looked up in the table of ranges: 2013 falls in 2013–2024, so the generation is Generation Alpha. The lines are a research convention, not an official date, and sources differ by a few years.

How old someone born in 2013 is today is on how old is someone born in 2013; this page answers only which generation it is.
