If you want to count only Business Days
Answer
Days counted: June 25, 2026 – September 19, 2026 (September 20, 2026 itself is not counted)
87 calendar days = 60 business days + 25 weekend days + 2 federal holidays
480 working hours at 8 hours a day
Counted in US federal business days: weekends and the federal holidays of 5 U.S.C. §6103 are skipped, each on the day it is observed.
Federal holidays in the span: Independence Day (Friday, July 3, 2026, observed), Labor Day (Monday, September 7, 2026). Banks count differently: Friday, July 3, 2026 is a business day for banks that follow the Federal Reserve, which does not move a Saturday holiday to Friday, so a bank deadline can fall a business day earlier.
