How is age counted?
In full years: the current year minus the birth year, minus one if this year's birthday is still ahead. A birthday that falls today counts as already come. Someone born on February 29 has the birthday on March 1 in a non-leap year.
Why does the result show two ages, like '46 or 47'?
Only the year (or the month) of birth is known, so the calculator cannot tell whether this year's birthday has come. Born in 1979, as of today: 47 if the birthday has already come, today included; 46 if it is still ahead.
How old will I turn this year?
